Life Purpose

STUDY GUIDE

“Until your desire to become you matches God’s desire for you to become you, you will never become who God intended you to be”

How passionate are you to see God’s purposes come to fruition in your life?

How aggressively are you pursuing the knowledge of God and His will for your life?

How desperate are you to locate that for which your life
has been called upward in Christ (Phil 3:12)?

Are you “pressing towards the goal to win the prize to which Christ Jesus is calling you upward?”

You will never see your potential maximized until there is a grabbing hold of destiny in your heart. You will never become the you God intended until you get serious about knowing Him and knowing His will. Jesus said that “the violent take the kingdom by force”

(Matt 11:12).

This violence is similar to the aggressiveness of a baby in the birth canal that is ready to start living life. You have got to mean business about serving the purposes of God in this generation, and get your priorities in line if you want to find that life that gives significance.

Chapter 6

A Father’s Heart

1. Read The Father’s Love Letter and comment to what portion of scripture touched your heart the most. Why?

2. The father’s blessing is a vital part of establishing our sense of identity. Even Jesus needed the affirmation of His Father. Did you receive an earthly father’s blessing? If not, how has it affected you?

3. Jacob lives his life looking for “the blessing” of his earthly father to come to a realization that what he really needed was “the blessing” of his heavenly Father. Track and note Jacob’s efforts to get “the blessing,” and where he came to a place of peace and settled identity.

4. We are seeing a Father Movement emerging today. What are some of the signs that this Movement is growing in impact?

5. A good father leaves an inheritance to his natural children. What is an earthly father supposed to deposit in one’s life? Apply that to your heavenly Father’s provision for you.
